Road Safety Week Participation - Bapco Upstream, SLB & NAMCO
Bapco Upstream, SLB, and NAMCO participated in Road Safety Week at the Schlumberger yard from 23-26 Novermber 2025. Morning and afternoon sessions were held for groups of 15 employees from various contractors. A 200-ton crane was used to demonstrate blind-spot hazards, and a breathalyzer device was provided to highlight alcohol-free driving. The event strengthened road safety awareness and reinforced our shared commitment to safe practices across all Bapco Upstream operations.

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
The external audit has been successfully carried out by Bureau Veritas. Following this thorough evaluation, NAMCO has been awarded new ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, which are valid for the next three years (2025 to 2028). This significant achievement underscores NAMCO's unwavering commitment to quality, environmental responsibility and occupational health & safety excellence, reinforces our dedication to continuous improvement.

JUNE
World Environment Day 2025
NAMCO organized a one-day Green Bahrain Initiative under the theme “Greening the Future: Planting for a Sustainable Environment.” As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, NAMCO aims to plant 200 plus trees and shrubs around its field yard, transforming it into a greener and more vibrant space. This initiative aims to enhance environment, reduce carbon footprint, and promote awareness among employees.

Bapco Upstream HSSE Award
Bapco Upstream HSSE Operations has awarded NAMCO in recognition of its exemplary Good Housekeeping Campaign conducted following the 2025 camping season across multiple locations in the Bahrain Oil Field. The NAMCO Incentive Campaign for Good Housekeeping, launched on 11 April 2025, aimed to restore and maintain high housekeeping standards following the camping season, ensuring clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work areas across all operational sites.

Road Safety Committee Forum
NAMCO, in coordination with Bapco Upstream and other contractors, arranged the Cross Contractors Road Safety Committee Forum 2025, which was held at the NAMCO Yard. Mr. Mike Gough (Technical Consultant, HSSE Exploration and Development) attended the event and delivered an insightful speech on safe driving. The main objective of this forum was to reduce road traffic incidents across E&DD by at least 30% in 2025 through enhanced road safety awareness among contractors and business units.

AB Pipeline Demolition
Project "Cold Cutting and Removal of Old AB1, AB2, and AB3 Pipelines from Al Jasra Manifold to Refinery Tank-Farm” was successfully completed ahead of schedule and with zero incidents, reflecting the team's strong commitment to safety, planning, and execution excellence. Despite the challenging site conditions and the critical nature of the operations, the team maintained high standards of safety, coordination, and discipline throughout all phases.
